About the class: Wesak day within the Eastern tradition of spirituality is a celebration of the Buddha (his birth, his enlightenment, his death and passing into pari-nirvana). For the last hundred or more years Wesak has also been an important festival within the so called ‘New age’ circle of spirituality. In this sense it is associated with a new influx of spiritual or evolutionary energy into the world that ‘sets the tone’ for the rest of the year. Toby will be leading a meditation to help you to:

  • Find a place of coolness, peace and stability amidst the turbulence of your own life
  • Connect to the inner creative and evolutionary energies that you sense emerging within yourself at this time, giving them name and direction in your life
  • A chance to connect with the spirit of the Buddha and your own inner world guidance
  • Practice inner world journeying for the purposes of healing, knowledge and renewal. This journey is undertaken both for yourself and or your circle of influence.

Suitable for: Both beginners & more advanced practitioners of meditation & mindfulness. All are welcome!

Cost: Sing$35 per participant
