Overview: Stress, anxiety, fear, anger, attachment – ordinarily we see these states as negative; things that get in the way of our happiness & wellbeing, preventing us from achieving the goals & quality of life that we want.

But what if there was a way in which we could learn to work with difficult & chaotic energies in such a way that we could transform them, recreating them as sources of positive empowerment that help us to accomplish our goals and awaken to a new level of fulfillment?

This course series is exactly that; it teaches you how you can transform your stress, anxiety & other difficult emotions into forces for good in your life, using clearly defined mindfulness practices. The sessions provide:

  • An extensive overview of stress-transformation, what it is and how to start with confidence in the theory
  • A practical, experiential dive into the stress-transformation practices & meditations themselves

The techniques in these sessions draw upon include:

  • Traditional awareness & insight practice based on Buddhist & other Eastern approaches
  • More contemporary western mindfulness techniques from the emotional intelligence, shadow, cognitive & existential schools
  • Tantric & Tibetan Lojong principles of energy transformation

The course is based around four essential mindful ‘stress transformation positions’ that can be applied to all forms of stress & challenging emotion.

Weds November 4th – Class 8: Transforming brain-fog, fatigue, & dullness into wisdom, insight & recovery

About the Facilitator:

Toby is a meditation teacher, the founder of Integral Meditation Asia.
