In a sentence: Learn the art of ‘instant awakening’ and playful wisdom through integrative meditation

Overview: The Wisdom of Awakening series is an ongoing series that looks at different ways to ‘wake up’ and live your life fully and playfully through meditation. The premise of the sessions is that inner wholeness and wisdom are not something that are far away, rather they are something that we can awaken to ‘instantly’ through certain types of mindful attention.

In this four-class series we take the subjects of forgiveness, Eternal life & True inner fortitude as our meditation themes as our doorways to awakening:

Quote from Anthony De Mello:

“Is there anything I can do to make myself Enlightened?”

“As little as you can do to make the sun rise in the morning.”

“Then of what use are the spiritual exercises you prescribe?”

“To make sure you are not asleep when the sun begins to rise.”

“Is there such a thing as One Minute Wisdom?’ “There certainly is,” said the Master.

“But surely one minute is too brief?” “It is fifty-nine seconds too long. “

To his puzzled disciples the Master later said. “How much time does it take to catch

sight of the moon?”

“Then why all these years of spiritual endeavour?”

“Opening one’s eyes may take a lifetime. Seeing is done in a flash. “
