In a sentence: A two-day meditation retreat to go deeper into the experience of meditation, build confidence in your technique and practice, and transform your daily life through the transformation of your consciousness.
Overview of the retreat: Meditation has three principal functions:
- To facilitate inner healing
- To build inner strengths and capacities of body, mind and heart
- To facilitate an awakening and accessing of deeper, higher and more profound levels of consciousness and identity
This retreat is designed to facilitate all of these using integral meditation techniques over a two day period. These techniques include methods to:
- Build focus, clarity and relaxation within our body-mind
- Move into a space of warm, benevolent presence with self and others
- Gently direct our mind & emotions toward balance & harmony
- Move deeper into meditative stillness
- Access intentional creativity in meditation
The techniques will be simple, accessible and experiential, and Toby will guide each session personally. In addition to the meditation sessions there will be discussion sessions for clarifying your meditation experiences, and gentle movement & stretching to aid comfort in sitting.
Friday evening 7-7.30pm – Online primer session for retreat.

2-3pm – Session three: Clarity & positivity
3-3.40pm – Tea break & movement work
3.40-4.40pm – Session four: Breathing, stillness & intuitive creativity

About the Facilitator Toby Ouvry: Originally trained as an artist, specializing in ceramic sculpture, Toby subsequently embarked on a mindfulness and meditation odessy that included five years as a Buddhist Monk. He is the facilitator of the Mindfulness program at INSEAD, and the founder of his own training company Integral Meditation Asia. He has over 23 years of experience in teaching mindfulness & meditation to people of all backgrounds, specializing in teaching sustainable high-performance practices to help people thrive in their everyday lives.
