In a sentence: A  workshop where you will learn how you can develop greater self confidence, self trust and self belief in yourself and express it in your life through specific mindfulness practices.

Overview: How many things in your life would you be doing differently if you were thinking and acting from a place of deep self confidence?

If you had greater self-belief how much more could you be taking on and achieving in your life? And how much more fun would you be having doing it?

If you trusted yourself, how much easier would it be to feel good, act authentically and bring the person that you really are actively into your life?

This is a 3hour  workshop where you will be taught specific mindfulness practices that are designed to make a real and tangible difference with regard to your levels of everyday confidence and sense of inner wellbeing.

  • Develop greater focus, mental stamina and energy
  • Experience greater peace of mind
  • Experience life as enjoyable and playful

Content of the workshop:

Over the 3 hours of the workshop you will be guided through four exercises relating to self confidence, with talks and discussion in between. The four domains of self-confidence you will be guided through are:

  • Connecting to and growing the self-confidence that already exists within you
  • Cultivating self-confidence within your physical body, emotional energy and imagination
  • Becoming aware of and processing the obstacles to developing your self confidence and learning to maintain self-confidence under pressure.
  • Looking at the mental dimension of developing your self-confidence

In addition to the workshop you will receive:

  • MP3 recordings of the practices and talks that are done during the workshop
  • Full workshop notes with all of the mindful self confidence exercises included as well as other relevant articles and materials.
  • All in all you will have a very clear idea of how you can continue your mindful self leadership practice in your daily life after leaving the workshop

What is the Shadow Self?

Our shadow-self is that dark part of our mind and energy that we have repressed and that lies hidden but active within our subconscious mind, secretly stealing our energy and sabotaging our ability to manifest success, happiness, stability and peace in our mind and life. This three hour workshop shows you how to spot your shadow self and offers deeply practical and accessible methods for helping to release the energy within you that has been trapped in your shadow self, so that you can use the energy to live your life at its fullest, deepest potential.

Our shadow self also contains what is sometimes called our ‘golden shadow’, which is that part of our repressed unconscious that contains our greatest strengths and potential. Working with our golden shadow helps us to awaken this hidden potential, and bring it out into our conscious awareness so that we can develop and use it fully in our life.

Toby has a BA Hons degree in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Subsequent to his degree, Toby spent ten years doing his foundational training in meditation and mindfulness, specializing in the Tibetan Tradition which included five years as an ordained Buddhist monk.

He has been practicing and teaching mindfulness & meditation for over nineteen years. As the founder and principle facilitator at Integral Meditation Asia he delivers mindfulness programs to both the public and corporate sectors. His clients include both government organizations in Singapore as well as numerous SME’s and MNC’s. Overview: Our relationship to ourself is the most important relationship that we have, as it is ourself that we spend 24hours of each day with. If we have a balanced, positive relationship to self we will tend to project this positivity onto our relationships with others. Similarly any imbalances or deficiencies that we have in our relationship to self will tend to be projected onto other people around us.

This workshop presents a series of engaged mindfulness practices that will enable you to:

  • Like and embrace who you are, enjoying your relationship to yourself on a daily basis
  • Become more resilient to the challenges of self hatred or dislike, moving toward a space of greater self acceptance
  • Bring the confidence, comfort & ease that you develop in your practice of self-love into your work & relationships with other people

A side effect of the mindful self-love practices will be greater peace of mind, greater ability to focus on what is important and a reduced sense of anxiety and insecurity

Workshop Structure: The workshop will be facilitated over two hours, where you will be led through three mindful self love practices, with time for discussion, Q&A & note taking in between. The three domains of practice will be:

This workshop focuses upon how you can use the process of mindful inquiry in order to connect deeply to and renew your own sources of personal inspiration.
