Start date: August 14th & 15th 2018. Please note this is a course that you can attend the live sessions with in Singapore, or you can do it online (and from anywhere in the world) by receiving the recordings to listen to in your own time.
Details: This is a meditation course that is designed to help you learn to meditate in a way that:
- Is very relaxing and gentle, requiring relatively little effort to do
- Naturally promotes healing and wellbeing in both your mind and body
- Is simple enough for a beginner, but contains many levels that the more advanced practitioner can remain engaged and stimulated by
- Can have a transformative effect on the way in which you experience stress and tension
- Can contribute to you feeling mentally, emotionally & energetically ‘young’, flexible and resilient in the face of life’s challenges
If so, then this is a course for you! Come & train with mindfulness expert Toby Ouvry, who will teach you the basic methods of insight or ‘observation’ meditation. There will be two chances each week to attend this class series:
Tuesday, 14,21,28th August, September 4&11th – 7.30-8.30pm – Meditation class at Oneheart (on Tambeling road, East coast)
Wednesday, 15, 22,29th August, September 5&12th – 7.30-8.30pm – Meditation class at Basic Essence (Near Botanic Gardens MRT)
154/15 August, Class 1 – Creating mindful flow in your meditation and life
21/22 August, Class 2 – Insight and meditation around the body & senses
28/29 August, Class 3 – Insight meditation around thoughts & emotions
4/5 September, Class 4 – Insight meditation around awareness and consciousness
11/12 September Class 5 – Creating a liberated state of mind through insight meditation

About the teacher, Toby Ouvry
Toby is a mindfulness teacher and trainer, and the author of the book ‘Engaged Mindfulness – What mindfulness is and how we can apply it to our daily lives’.
He has a BA Hons degree in Fine Art from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Subsequent to his degree, Toby spent ten years doing his foundational training in meditation and mindfulness, specializing in the Tibetan Tradition which included five years as an ordained Buddhist monk….click HERE for full details of Toby.
